Went shopping at my favourite feed store and this is what greeted me!
Seriously, it's a week and a half before Thanksgiving .... really? That poor tree will be a fire hazard before Christmas day rolls around!
I don't understand the rush to get holidays over with. Halloween wasn't even here yet and the stores had their Christmas decorations out!
Well, I'm taking my time ... I refuse to be stressed .... I want to enjoy each holiday and not rush into the next one before one is over!
On a different subject, a much slower paced one ... I had a wonderful vacation. Enjoyed every single day. The Wizarding World of Harry Potter was amazing. I felt such at home. ;)
Here I am going to platform 9 3/4 ...
Just goes to show you, I'm not a muggle! :P On my way to .....
I miss my butterbeer!
The weather was fantastic! Went swimming every night! So enjoyed the lazy river .... the current pushes you along! Ha ... such is vacation life!
Back to the world of muggles ....
Hope you've had a wonderful week! Cheers!

Lucky you! looks like you had a great time :-) They just opended this summer when we were in Florida, but the lines were unbelievable ( like 6 hous to get on a ride...) so we skipped it- next time we'll definately go!
Sounds like a wonderful trip and I would love to be on a river in the warm sun, lol. Did you get a lot of snow in your area?
I always wait till the day after Thanksgiving, that is when you ring in the Christmas season and a great way to work off some of the dinner;)
Debbie
I am so with you on the rushing of the holidays.
The trip looks and sounds like it was wonderful.
I AGREE!!!! (And yes, I'm yelling!) It makes me CAHRAZY when people have their Christmas lights up before Thanksgiving -- this year we had a house in our neighborhood who had them up at Halloween. I wanted to cut their power! I never put my live tree up until around the 12th. Sadly, because everyone else is crazy, we have to pick it out before then but I leave it outside -- how do they last if they're in the dry indoor heat for a month???
Glad you had a good vacation! Sorry you had to get on your soapbox when you came back!
