Proud mama moment ...

Last year, I gifted to Pumpkin, my daughter, my Bernina 180, circa 2000. Given that it was an older technology, not compatible with today's software, I had dished the embroidery module. ... machine embroidery was never my thing. I wasn't using it much, except for sewing the binding on quilts .... I just liked the newer walking foot. Pumpkin expressed a desire to start sewing ... so why not.

Fast forward ... she has created so many wonderful projects ... gifts for family and friends.

She even has her own little tag ... OMG, how cute is that.

As you probably all know, I do not sew ... I quilt ... so this talent is all her own doing. LOL However, recently, she has expressed a desire to quilt, so that's where I come in. She wanted to make pot holders, as well as a table runner for a friend. Off we went quilt shop hopping .... she chose this pattern:

I just love this pattern designer ... her instructions are and offers a variety of sized from a table runner all the way to a king size quilt. BTW, that is my next project ... on Floyd ... of course!

I went down one weekend and taught her how to machine quilt. Here she is .... Look at her go ....

The finished product ....

Would you look at that machine quilting ..... So proud!

Anyway, just wanted to brag ... and while I'm at it ... allow me to introduce to you my newest grand furry baby .... Meet Maple ... she's such a goofball! LOL

Scarf made by Pumpkin ... I'm telling you that girl's got talent ... so creative!

That's it for now. Thanks for the bragging moment .... Catch you all later ... Cheers!
