C'est moi ....!

How are ya?  For those in the Northeast, are you getting ready for the snow storm headed our way?  They are predicting 12 - 16 inches of that white stuff!  That would be nice given that most of the snow has missed up, but not the cold weather!  I love snow!

I've been a busy quilter and managed to complete a few projects, one of which I will share.  It is appropriate given our weather forecast!

The pattern is called "Snow Friends" by Primitive Gatherings.  This is a wool on cotton quilt!

I had such a good time working on this quilt ... they are so happy!  So much so, that I completed the project in less than a week!  It's the machine quilting that dragged on! lol

Here is an outdoor shot!  Brrrr..... it was cold that day!

Given that Seam-a-Steam 2 Lite is no longer available, for now anyway, (at Fall Market I did speak with the Warm Company representative and they mentioned that they cannot get a supplier for the special paper that is required) I used Heat N Bond Feather Lite Fusible.  Let me tell you .... I LOVE it!  I will not go back!  It needles like butter and my Snow people's heads and what nots are well secured!  It's not stiff at all and the quilt feels great!

Thanks for stopping by my little corner in cyber space! I have a few more finishes to show you!  Later!

You know how much I love working with wool and especially wool on cotton and I've been hoarding what I have left of my Steam-a Seam 2.

How is the Heat N Bond Feather Lit Fusible that you mentioned in your post sold...in packages, on a roll or does it come on a bolt? I'd love to try it.

Do you sell it in your shop and if you do, will you ship to Nova Scotia?

That is a fun quilt and definitely a happy piece. I have had enough of snow, we get it and it is too cold to go out, then it rains and ruins it, so i can't play in it;)

I usually use pellon since I can get it cheap at jo anns but I might have some heat and bond, will have to look and try it on my next project. I tried another brand and it melted on me, so I need to read instructions better and try them all to see what I like best for different projects.

Bonjour. On se prépare pour la neige à Montréal, mais on essaie d'utiliser des couleurs de tissu qui donnent le goût du printemps !

What a super cute quilt! And perfect for here -- we're getting dumped on, and like you, I love it. I'm sending some snow your way LOL.

Good to know about the heat and bond. I read an article somewhere last week that said Steam-a-Seam has found a new supplier and they'll soon have more available.

That quilt is so cute and the colors are wonderful.

Thanks for the information about the new fusible. It's nice to have read a review on it.
