What's going on with blogger?

Thank you so much everyone for your well wishes. I feel that my blood pressure is slowly coming back to normal, which is good. However, last night both Stephen and I had some form of food poisioning. What the heck is going on here? We cannot seem to figure out what it was. Out in the trash everything went!

Today, I decided that I was going to have patiences and attempt to post what I intended to do last Wednesday. Voila, the image appears! Well, a small box with an x in it! lol Unfortunately, I cannot see the image myself. I pressed "done" and I'm hoping it is of a block from the Sherbert quilt and not an embarassing picture of something! ROFLOL

I'm working in Html mode and the image coding looks like it's being posted twice. Those of you who can actually see what I'm doing, please let me know. When I witch to "compose" mode, I get two (2) boxes with a red X in the middle. Hum... well I deleted one!

I've been thinking of switching to typepad, but it would not solve the issue of not being able to see my friend's blogs. It truly makes it hard to post a comment if you cannot see the images!

Voici the machine quilting pattern on the Sherbert Quilt, I hope! LOL I have decided to name that quilt Cotton Candy d'Antan. I could not find a suitable english word for d'antan which means of yesteryears or olden days. Sort of long in English, don't you think?

I'm hoping that blogger will have resolved their issues soon so that I can visit my friends on blog land. I could understand if it was only my laptop, but I get the same result on the main computer. The only blog from blogger I seem to be able to see the pictures is Melanie's from Covered Porches & Wooden Screen Doors. I wonder what she's doing that allows me to see her pictures.

I'm off to attempt to get more machine quilting done on that Cotton Candy d'Antan! Have a great day every one!

Carole, are you using Internet Explorer? I was having a whole bunch of problems with blogs - google, yahoo and such and someone suggested I switch my browser to Mozilla Firefox. I was quite nervous about downloading it and such but I was at the point where we were going to have to reformat the computer -- so I took a chance and downloaded Firefox. Talk about a miracle - completely solved the issues with google reader and yahoo mail and is so much faster than IE. Might want to give it a try if you haven't and see if that helps.

I can see the picture and it is lovely, you are so talented to quilt like that on the machine. I always use Mozilla Firefox and it is much, much better than IE. I have used it for a couple of years with good result. I am glad that your blood pressure is getting better.

Hi Carole,

I use Google Reader with Firefox. I usually have no problems with it but once in a while my system will tell me I am running low on virtual memory and I notice I can't see pictures on some of the blogs. My computer runs 24/7 so when this happens I reboot it and everything clears up. I just figure it's stupid Windows not cleaning up after itself.

I've always used Mozilla Firefox because IE has so many bugs...works great for me always. It's well worth switching.

Your picture came out fine for me.
Good luck with the computer problems.

Your photo looks great. I really like the quilting pattern you have chosen for it.
Blogger has been a touch unpredictable of late . . . hope they soon get the issues resolved. Take care - hope you will feel 100% real soon.

Carole,
I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better- The picture of your quilt came through- the quilting and quilt look beautiful- I like the french word for it- it is an apt description of it.
Hope that you are soon not bothered by computer problems- it can be very frustrating.
Regards from a Western Canadian Quilter,
Anna
