Saw this gem! Don't you think it would make a wonderful quilt shoppe?
It always bothers me to see such beautiful buildings, many full of history, abandoned and in disrepair. Oh well, I can dream!
On the quilting front I have been busy starting and finishing quilt tops. When I say finishing, I just mean in a "flimsy" state.
This little quilt is called Heritage Star by Kim Diehl. Love love love that fabric line! I'll have to schedule a date with Penelope soon .... the quilt tops are piling up!
On a humourous note ..... I had a friend visit me for lunch today and as soon as she left, an order of gorgeous batiks came in. So I texted her using the voice feature of the Iphone ......
I laughed so hard I was crying! Feels wonderful! Still laughing! Gotta love voice recognition .... it's the best one yet!
Enjoy your day! Cheers!
stop dreaming and do it.........how cool is the building....would be perfect.........
ReplyDeleteBut wait! You're not dreaming -- You HAVE a quilt shop already! That building does indeed look like a great location for a quilt shop -- or should I say it looks like a great place to sell gorgeous but cheeks!
ReplyDeleteVery funny! Your Kim Diehl flimsy is a true beauty; well done.
ReplyDeleteOMGosh....that is hysterical!!!
ReplyDeleteThat would make an awesome quilt shop.
Autocorrect can be pretty funny also. One of my sons and I trade our autocorrections and manage to amuse ourselves for hours.
ReplyDeleteWow! Love that building! It is begging you to open a quilt store in it! :)
ReplyDeleteI am also loving that building! It is one of the last original buildings on that street. It still has the original glass. It has been vacant for a really long time. When I see that building, I think about how many hundreds of people over many eras have stepped over the threshold of that store. Beyond perfect for a quilt shop!
