I tried......!!!!!

Honestly I did! I was determined to get the quilt machine quilted yesterday. sigh! My little terror on four (4) paws wouldn't let me. Midnight decided that he was going to make himself comfortable, right next to me! I tried continuing to work, but he made it difficult to move the quilt. If that wasn't enough, he was watching the needle intensely. I became afraid that he might want to try to catch it. He's still a kitten and so playful. He's a riot to watch, especially when he tries to catch flying insects.

  2. Midnight was forcing you to take a break. Don't overdo it, Carole - take care of yourself.

Your quilt is beautiful and I can't wait to see it all quilted.

  4. I think Midnight was telling you that he needed attention and it was time to stop quilting. VBG I love the fabrics in that quilt and can't wait to see it finished.

  5. Supervising--- she was supervising *s*--- Great idea about doing the top the same way...It will turn the quilting into an "original". I can't wait to see the finished product.

  6. My cats do that too. Usually if I get up and leave the room for a bit, they get bored and leave too--then I sneak back in! LOL! (Same thing happens when I take a bath. What's so fascinating that the cats want to watch?! LOL!)

  8. How frustrating but clever of you to just do the top border the same way, I´m sure it will look lovely.

  9. Midnight looks a bit like my two kitties. Trajan used to go after flying insects, too--and actually caught one, once! He made a spectacular leap straight up in the air, and that fly was sooo dead!

  10. My cat does that sometimes for attention, she will sit right where it's the most inconvenient. Love your feathers. Are you doing that free hand, will you teach me????

  11. Midnight is beautiful and so is your quilt. I forgot about cats watching while you take a bath, I only take showers. Cats are just so darn cute.

  14. Yes I have a helper that must be related to your helper! Good job on finding a creative solution rather than picking out!
