I think black would be a better choice.

I didn't know Keepsake had moved to the other end of the little mall they are in. The last time I was there was October 2005. I like it, but it is a two hour drive from my house.Sweet Phttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06051024938738245495noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6564554438273632665.post-35254554932723723092007-03-20T15:00:00.000-04:002007-03-20T15:00:00.000-04:00Maybe the class was not what your expected but the...Maybe the class was not what your expected but the quilt turned out beautiful just the same. For finding fabrics, have you tried Quiltshops.com? Love that search engine! Just type in the fabric line and click on "thumbnails" and you get photos of the fabrics so you can tell at a glance what's what.Kimhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05365964667029948020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6564554438273632665.post-72910779616766274872007-03-19T14:27:00.000-04:002007-03-19T14:27:00.000-04:00That is quite nifty - not at all what I expected f...That is quite nifty - not at all what I expected from the first picture. I did not expect the curves. Very nice.

My piece of fabric is 30" wide by 44". I just bought it off the bolt and just tried to figure out a good place to finish up the picture - I kind of liked having a bit of the cats and flowers on both sides. I could check and see if they have any left there.Pamhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01741073501328591544noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6564554438273632665.post-13506917742461286952007-03-19T13:36:00.000-04:002007-03-19T13:36:00.000-04:00This turned out really well. And it would look great in my home so I'll be sending my address so you can get it in the mail. :-)

I find with Keepsake I'm not nearly as impressed when I get the catalog as I used to be. Before internet shopping got to be so big they were one of the few mail order quilt stores but with so much competition - usually at much better prices - they probably don't get nearly the business that they used to. And I read somewhere that the owners have now retired and have turned the day to day running of the business over to managers so there's bound to be some changes there.Nancyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03812156057009704007noreply@blogger.com
