I've been a busy quilter....!

Yep, I've been in a "production mood".  If you recall, a while back I mentioned how bothered I was that nothing was getting completed.  More projects were being started than finished.

Don't get me wrong! It is fun to start a new projects! I'm all for it! However, after a while I find it creatively draining.

So, I sat myself down and started working on the task of completing something.

Ta dah!  Civil War Melodies (92 x 92)!  One of Fibre Junction's present BOM.

I finished the quilt top last weekend.  What a great feeling it was to complete this project.  It's now waiting to be machine quilted, which will take place soon.  Because .....

I'm on a mission!

Presently attempting to complete The General's Wives!  Here's a peak of where it was last left off!

So, we'll catch you later!  Thanks for stopping by! Cheers!

Both beautiful quilts, but I am loving the civil war medleys and the fabrics you used. I start too much and trying to finish things now, but really need to make myself a new quilt for my bed, for spring and summer. I also need to get going on my soon to be, grandson's quilt and curtains and...... lol.

Your finishes are spectacular! I would have to agree, while new projects are fun, sometimes having lots of wip's is so creatively draining.
