Wish I could sew.....!

Isn't it always like that? When you cannot access your sewing room, that's when you want it! Sigh....

This is what my sewing room looks like this very minute! Sigh... a big mess!

I know it's temporary, so I can manage. Gosh, I have so many hand projects going, it's not like I don't have anything to work on! lol

But, it's always like that, when you can't access it, you want it!

This is the entrance I wrote about yesterday.

My sewing room is part of the addition so the door leads into our bedroom.

It will be nice when it's part of the hallway and not our room!

Once we are finished with the bedroom, we'll button up my sewing room. I do need a new floor. However, I don't know if I'll have the energy to deal with it this year. I do have another room to prepare for my new toy! We'll see!

The renovations are moving along nicely. The windows are up and the ceiling is starting to come together. Stephen is working hard to make it all happen.

Having the windows up makes me feel more secure. Not that I think anyone would climb up, it's the little critters that bother me! lol

Today I plan on doing some hand embroidery. I did clean yesterday and frankly, I'm tired of cleaning! Time for a bit of relaxation!

Have a great day everyone! Thanks for stopping by!

It is certainly looking a lot less dusty!! I bet it will be a wonderful bedroom when it is finished. And it will be nice to have a separate entry for your sewing room. Are you putting the new long arm in your sewing room? It is interesting to see the old brick walls? Is the old house made completely from brick? What kind of floor are you putting down? Boy - aren't I a bundle of questions -LOL!!

You will clean once you have finished the bedroom, the dust will just come again and again until it is done.

Wow - there has been some serious progress in a very short time. At the rate it's going, you'll be back in your sewing room before you know it! Hang in there and just think how great it will all look when it's done *s*

Looks like there is a lot of renovating and painting going on in blogland. So I suggest when we all have finished we have a glass of wine and a sewingtogetherday in blogland.

Wow things are coming along pretty quickly. I understand how it is with your sewing room...its like forbidden fruit! LOL! When we have visitors, I have to pack up my sewing room stuff and make it a second spare room. So I know just what your are feeling.

Wow, your renovations are really moving along nicely! One room a year sounds like the perfect way of renovating. It gives you plenty of resting time in between :)

oh my such work you are doing! I recognize the dry wall lifter!! we used one of those, what a brilliant tool! Our house is about 130 years old and many of the walls are still the old horse hair plaster. so much to do yet!

Well I can certainly see the progress is moving quickly. I know how messy renovations can be, when our main bathroom was done last year it was dusty for 2 months. You'll be so pleased when it's all finished.

Hi
Looks like you are making progress even though you can't sew right now. Just keep thinking about the long arm future and time will pass quickly!!!
Hang in there!

I'll bet it seems like it will never be all back together again.

It won't be long before the new toy arrives. I was wondering if you were going to have to move it up into the sewing room on the second floor. That would be a challenge.
